We invite you to come and eat with The Real McCoy's. Wingo's is located on the first floor of The Hatfield McCoy Inn. Wingo's specializes in freshly Smoked Pork Boston Butt BBQ, served with one of our mouth watering homemade BBQ Sauces. We have great Ribs, Wings, Black Angus Rib Eyes, 1/2 lb Burgers, Philly's, Rubens, Quesadillas and much more.
The next time you're close by and would like us to cater to you and your friends give us a call or stop in. We'll serve you some Pork Worth Feud'n Over! Wingo's is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, 11am - 8:30 pm. Fridays and Saturdays starting with breakfast 8am and closing at 10pm. Sundays 11am - 4:30 pm. We can cater to your group anytime. We stayed at the Historic Matewan House Bed and Breakfast across the street for the Hatfield McCoy Marathon. After the race we walked across the street for supper. It had quieted down by the time we went but my meal was smoked pulled pork that was amazing. Had basic sides of corn and fries. The owner and her staff were super sweet ladies. Wished we would have eaten her for our meal the night before the race.
The pulled pork was delicious. The hours vary. Staff was friendly. In downtown Matewan. Ride your ATV to dinner.
We loved this place! We had dinner and breakfast there. It was like momma’s homemade everything. The people are so friendly and generous. We stayed at the inn above the restaurant and loved it, too. Great family atmosphere, fairly priced, and we will definitely return.
Great BBQ
Great place for a meal, snack or dessert. We had a large group, and the next day a small group. The service was great both times. Great food at a reasonable price. Lots of history at this location.
Absolutely NOTHING negative! Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Went above and beyond the call of duty! My friend's camera and phone both were nearly dead. They provided an extension cord so she could charge both! Food was served unbelievably fast, was hot and delicious! The staff was so nice! Will definitely return when in the area

These people are super nice.. The food was great, although they do tend to give way too much to eat.. The price was fantastic.. Overall, it was a wonderful experience

In town for the Hatfield McCoy Geo Trails MEGA! Wow, what a great place. Loved the atmosphere and friendly service. Food was great, very tasty enjoyed every bite. Loved the stage and the live music performance by some locals,that was the icing on the cake. Came back the second night for a second round of that very tasty, pulled pork! Love me some Wingo's!
We were in town for the Hatfield McCoy geocaching event. Part of our package was the pulled pork platter at Wingo's. It was really delicious. The pork was very tender and tasty. I especially liked the cole slaw. I would definitely recommend a stop here.
my husband, mother,stepfather and I went to the 2014 Hatfield and McCoy Festival held in Matewan. We decided to get something to eat here and oh what an excelent choice. The ribs were amazing. We have a trip planned to hit the trails coming up and we are already planning to eat supper there again. Overall experience was great

Great BBQ in this establishment run by descendants of the famous McCoy clan. We had the pulled pork BBQ and it was tender and juicy. They have excellent sauces to make taste buds go crazy and I found the whisky sauce to be my favorite. Sweet and yet bold! Keep in mind that they are only open on Friday and Saturday so plan accordingly. Great place to eat in this historic coal town.
During the winter Wingos is open on Friday, Sat. and Sunday. We had Friday night dinner here and we got food "to go" the next day. Don and Kathy, the owners, are "real McCoys" (yep, Don is a descendant of one of the feudin' McCoys! They have the place decorated nicely and even have a fireplace in the dining area that's from a McCoy house (sorry I don't recall all of the details but they'll be able to tell you). We hired Don to take us on a tour of Hatfield and McCoy country and he did a super job. We wish we had more time. We bought 4 more meals "to go" from Mingo's when we left. Mmmmm it sure was good! Thanks to Kathy and Don for a super experience!
Unbutton your pants - you want to make the most of this
My wife and I were doing geocaching of the Hatfield and McCoy sites. We stopped in Matewan to find a place to eat. Coming from a small town ourself, we understand that the best is not always the brightest lit or advertised. We were right with this pick. We were greeted with cheer. My wife ordered the pulled pork and I a full rack of ribs.(thinking I would take what I did not eat with me back to the hotel). WOW the rack came. Only way to discribe is robust in volume. They tasted so good, guess how many went back to the hotel (0). Make this a stop, it is worth it if you are hungry. (Price not bad either).
